Product Description

This Opus Melody 5kw is a wood burning stove produced employing both high quality cast iron and high grade steel metalwork and with a modern design. The higher the efficiency rating the more effective output of stove heat into the room - this stove has a solid efficiency rating of 77.4%. All Opus stoves come with a 5 year warranty period. This particular model of stove has the added attribute of a tall glass viewing window providing an exciting vision of the flames. This stove's output is appropriate for heating an area measuring approximately 8ft (H), 18ft (L) and 17ft (W). Opus stoves are made by a group with operations in the UK, Croatia and Germany and are designed and built with passionate dedication and manufactured with an eye on both efficiency and aesthetics. It is important to note that this stove is for wood burning only and does not take other fuels.

Warranty

The warranty cover is effective from when the unit is handed over to the buyer. In case the commissioning does take place within 3 months from the date of purchase then the warranty period starts on the day of purchase of the product, which must be demonstrated by proof of purchase such as a sales receipt or paid invoice from the seller.

OPUS declines all liability for any accidents due to failure to observe the specifications contained in the use and maintenance manual accompanying the device. Furthermore, OPUS declines all liability deriving from improper use of the product by the user (including heat-shock, overload or misuse of the firebox), unauthorised modifications and/or repairs, and the use of non-original spare parts or spare parts not designed for use on this product model.

Duration of warranty is five years on the stove body and moving parts (hinges, handle, and fittings). Please note that the warranty does not cover glues, seals, ceramic glass and firebricks.

Delivery Information


Cost of Delivery

To find out the cost of delivery, please add the item(s) required to the Basket and then proceed to checkout. At this point you will be able to obtain a quote by entering your postcode in the appropriate section. Delivery Costs will depend on the product(s) being purchased and the location of the customer. There is no need to create an account to obtain a quote.


There are 4 delivery methods:

Royal Mail – this is used for small items with delivery expected to take no more than 3 to 5 days (excluding Sunday).

My Hermes – this is used for large items with delivery expected to take between 3 to 5 days.

DPD – this service is used for customers who have selected a Next Day Delivery service. If ordering before 2.00pm items will arrive the next day. If ordering after 2.00pm items will arrive two days after ordering.

PALLEX NETWORK – Pallet deliveries for stoves and large quantity orders


Stoves

Stoves are generally delivered on a pallet and will arrive between 2 to 3 days after dispatch. Note, stoves not in stock or hand crafted may incur a delay before dispatch – please check with one of our sales advisors for an anticipated delivery schedule.
Customers are notified by email when goods have been dispatched.

Stoves are delivered to customers’ property with a vehicle with an attached tail-lift for ease of removal. However, due to the weight of some stoves, it is asked that on arrival a customer is able to assist with the transport of the stove into the property. Two person deliveries can be obtained in some instances, although normally at an additional cost.

Stoves sent on a 'signed for service', do require customers to be at home to take collection. Sorry, but additional charges can apply for missed deliveries.

Arrival of Goods

On arrival of the goods ordered we advise customers check the contents of any box for damage during transit prior to signing for the goods. Any obvious damage found, sign for as ‘damaged’; failure to do so can result in the invalidation of delivery insurance (this allows for the refund of delivery costs to the property and the return of the goods to the company for replacement).


Difficulties with Delivery

Please contact us by email or telephone if the property is often difficult for couriers to find, if access to the property is restricted in some way, if the driveway is not level or of a material which makes it difficult to transport goods using lifting equipment.


Exact Delivery Times

As with all companies using couriers, it is often not possible to give an exact delivery date or time, although most items can be tracked by customers. If you would like to request a specific date for delivery, feel free to contact us, although we are unable to provide a guarantee that it will arrive on that date. We will always do our best.
