Product Description

This superior output and Polish manufactured Kratki Maja 8kw is a wood burning inset stove produced employing both high quality cast iron and high grade steel metalwork and with a modern design. The higher the efficiency rating the more effective output of stove heat into the room - this stove has a solid efficiency rating of 75%. All Kratki stoves come with a 5 year warranty period. This particular model of stove has the added attribute of a appreciably striking panoramic glass viewing window providing a spectacular vision of the flames. This inset stove slides easily into a recess under the chimney while the flange being wider, overlaps and seals the stove against the wall. This stove's output is appropriate for heating a large area measuring approximately 8ft (H), 22ft (L) and 22ft (W). Please note, this is not a multifuel stove. Kratki stoves have a male spigot as an outlet collar and require an additional Continental Stove Adapter or Double Socket Adaptor in the appropriate diameter to connect the standard single wall stove pipes.

Warranty

The manufacturer grants a 5-year warranty from the moment of purchasing the stove. The buyer is obliged to read the stove’s instruction manual for its appropriate use which is confirmed by an entry in the warranty card at the time of warranty registration. In the case of a complaint, the user of the stove is obliged to follow the appropriate complaints’ procedure and be able to submit a copy of the completed warranty card and proof of purchase if requested. Submitting this documentation is necessary to resolve any claims. Volsom Ltd (Stoves Etc) will be more than happy to assist customers in this regard and provide guidance and support throughout any warranty claim. Consideration of the complaint will be made within 14 days from the date of its submission. Any modifications or physical design changes of the stove does invalidate the manufacturer's warranty.

The warranty covers all cast iron elements, movable elements of the control mechanisms of the flue shield and the comb of the ash box cover, grate and fireplace seals for 1 year from the moment of purchasing the stove. Some ceramic items are covered for a period of 2 years from the moment of purchasing the stove.

The warranty does not cover vermiculite, some heat-resistant ceramics (resistant to temperatures up to 800 ° C), all defects resulting from non-observance of the provisions of the operating instructions, in particular regarding the fuel and the kindling used, any defects caused during transport from the distributor to the customer, any defects caused during installation and start-up of the stove, damages resulting from thermal overloads of the chimney liner (related to the operation of the stove not in accordance with the provisions of the operating instructions).

In addition, any damage caused due to improper handling, storage, improper maintenance, inconsistent with the conditions specified in the operating instructions and due to other reasons not attributable to the manufacturer, will void the warranty if the damage contributed to the quality and performance changes relating to the stove’s operation.

ADVISORY:

It is important for our customers to note that the use of coal or other inappropriate fuels would lead to the invalidation of the warranty. Any action requested by the customer under the terms of the warranty would require a signature of declaration confirming that only wood has been used. The manufacturer (or person or organisation approved by the manufacturer to carry out any repairs) reserves the right to examine residue in the stove to confirm this. In such an instance where other fuels have been detected as being used within the stove, the customer is obliged to cover all costs related to the repair of the stove and/or replacement of parts; which includes the cost of labour.

Delivery Information


Cost of Delivery

To find out the cost of delivery, please add the item(s) required to the Basket and then proceed to checkout. At this point you will be able to obtain a quote by entering your postcode in the appropriate section. Delivery Costs will depend on the product(s) being purchased and the location of the customer. There is no need to create an account to obtain a quote.


There are 4 delivery methods:

Royal Mail – this is used for small items with delivery expected to take no more than 3 to 5 days (excluding Sunday).

My Hermes – this is used for large items with delivery expected to take between 3 to 5 days.

DPD – this service is used for customers who have selected a Next Day Delivery service. If ordering before 2.00pm items will arrive the next day. If ordering after 2.00pm items will arrive two days after ordering.

PALLEX NETWORK – Pallet deliveries for stoves and large quantity orders


Stoves

Stoves are generally delivered on a pallet and will arrive between 2 to 3 days after dispatch. Note, stoves not in stock or hand crafted may incur a delay before dispatch – please check with one of our sales advisors for an anticipated delivery schedule.
Customers are notified by email when goods have been dispatched.

Stoves are delivered to customers’ property with a vehicle with an attached tail-lift for ease of removal. However, due to the weight of some stoves, it is asked that on arrival a customer is able to assist with the transport of the stove into the property. Two person deliveries can be obtained in some instances, although normally at an additional cost.

Stoves sent on a 'signed for service', do require customers to be at home to take collection. Sorry, but additional charges can apply for missed deliveries.

Arrival of Goods

On arrival of the goods ordered we advise customers check the contents of any box for damage during transit prior to signing for the goods. Any obvious damage found, sign for as ‘damaged’; failure to do so can result in the invalidation of delivery insurance (this allows for the refund of delivery costs to the property and the return of the goods to the company for replacement).


Difficulties with Delivery

Please contact us by email or telephone if the property is often difficult for couriers to find, if access to the property is restricted in some way, if the driveway is not level or of a material which makes it difficult to transport goods using lifting equipment.


Exact Delivery Times

As with all companies using couriers, it is often not possible to give an exact delivery date or time, although most items can be tracked by customers. If you would like to request a specific date for delivery, feel free to contact us, although we are unable to provide a guarantee that it will arrive on that date. We will always do our best.
