Product Description

This British built ACR Oakdale 5kw is a multifuel stove produced employing high quality cast iron metalwork and with a traditional design. The higher the efficiency rating the more effective output of stove heat into the room - this stove has a particularly high efficiency rating of 84% - one of the highest ratings in the industry. All ACR stoves come with a 10 year warranty period. This stove's output is appropriate for heating an area measuring approximately 8ft (H), 18ft (L) and 17ft (W).

ACR Heat Products have been on the market for the last 30 years providing piece of mind that this company is well established and reliable. Every multifuel model manufactured is smoke exempt allowing the burning of wood in smoke controlled areas. This stove is also SIA EcoDesign Ready approved meaning that it meets with the EcoDesign criteria which will become mandatory in 2022.

This warranty covers the stove body / castings only and does not include consumable items such as grates, firebricks, vermiculite panels, baffles, log guards, door rope, LED bulbs, batteries and glass. The warranty will only cover working / consumable parts if the buyer can prove that the damage was present upon receipt of the stove.

The stove will need to be maintained and operated as per the instruction manual. The warranty will become invalid if the stove is not maintained. The stove will not be covered by warranty if it has not been installed correctly, the wrong fuel has been used on the stove e.g unseasoned wood or solid fuel with a higher pet coke content than 20%, non-genuine ACR spare parts have been fitted to the appliance, if modifications have been made to the stove, if the stove has been damaged by fire (e.g chimney fire), corrosion or if the serial number / data plate has been removed from the stove.

The warranty commences from the date that the stove was purchased. This is based on the stove having not been in stock with Stoves-Etc for longer than 1 year. The warranty does not apply to appliances which have been purchased as ex working displays – this would be incredibly unusual for Stoves-Etc to sell such a stove as being ex-working, however in such an instance, the customer would be clearly advised. The warranty does not cover the installation or the flue system the stove is attached to.

The flue must be swept at least once a year and the stove must be serviced & maintained annually by a suitably qualified engineer such as HETAS or another competence scheme, as a condition of the warranty and receipts for each annual sweep and annual service must be able to be provided as evidence. Stove paint finishes may require re-painting periodically which is considered part of the maintenance of your stove and therefore the paint finish is not covered by the warranty. It is important that the paint work is kept in good condition as failure to do this could lead to corrosion. Enamelled components are not covered where these parts have been overfired which would lead to chipping, bubbling, cracking or crazing of the enamel.

The warranty is not transferable. It relates to the original installation only and to the original purchaser. Please retain your dated sales receipt as proof of purchase.

The ACR range of stoves are purpose designed and built for the UK giving nice features like appropriate heat outputs for UK homes and all have 125mm outlets as well as being DEFRA approved; this mean you can remain in 125mm for the entire flue system (although increasing to 150mm is still recommended by HETAS installers).

Delivery Information

Cost of Delivery

To find out the cost of delivery, please add the item(s) required to the Basket and then proceed to checkout. At this point you will be able to obtain a quote by entering your postcode in the appropriate section. Delivery Costs will depend on the product(s) being purchased and the location of the customer. There is no need to create an account to obtain a quote.

There are 4 delivery methods:

Royal Mail – this is used for small items with delivery expected to take no more than 3 to 5 days (excluding Sunday).

My Hermes – this is used for large items with delivery expected to take between 3 to 5 days.

DPD – this service is used for customers who have selected a Next Day Delivery service. If ordering before 2.00pm items will arrive the next day. If ordering after 2.00pm items will arrive two days after ordering.

PALLEX NETWORK – Pallet deliveries for stoves and large quantity orders


Stoves are generally delivered on a pallet and will arrive between 2 to 3 days after dispatch. Note, stoves not in stock or hand crafted may incur a delay before dispatch – please check with one of our sales advisors for an anticipated delivery schedule.
Customers are notified by email when goods have been dispatched.

Stoves are delivered to customers’ property with a vehicle with an attached tail-lift for ease of removal. However, due to the weight of some stoves, it is asked that on arrival a customer is able to assist with the transport of the stove into the property. Two person deliveries can be obtained in some instances, although normally at an additional cost.

Stoves sent on a 'signed for service', do require customers to be at home to take collection. Sorry, but additional charges can apply for missed deliveries.

Arrival of Goods

On arrival of the goods ordered we advise customers check the contents of any box for damage during transit prior to signing for the goods. Any obvious damage found, sign for as ‘damaged’; failure to do so can result in the invalidation of delivery insurance (this allows for the refund of delivery costs to the property and the return of the goods to the company for replacement).

Difficulties with Delivery

Please contact us by email or telephone if the property is often difficult for couriers to find, if access to the property is restricted in some way, if the driveway is not level or of a material which makes it difficult to transport goods using lifting equipment.

Exact Delivery Times

As with all companies using couriers, it is often not possible to give an exact delivery date or time, although most items can be tracked by customers. If you would like to request a specific date for delivery, feel free to contact us, although we are unable to provide a guarantee that it will arrive on that date. We will always do our best.
